Job summary

Auberle is hiring a Young Adult Support Specialist for the 412 Youth Zone in downtown Pittsburgh, PA. You will build trusting relationships with young people, assess needs, and support their engagement and progress within drop-in center programs.

You will participate in activities, coordinate with partners, and help with transportation and documentation to support youth completing goals in a caring, youth-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances required.
• High school diploma/GED accepted and one year of experience working with youth.
• Valid PA driver’s license, vehicle, registration, and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with young people to foster engagement and support growth.
• Greet and establish rapport with youth entering the drop-in center and build trust.
• Provide one-on-one contact to assess needs, address challenges, and celebrate successes.
• Promote and coordinate participation in programs and activities at the drop-in center.
• Facilitate and promote programs to meet diverse needs of youth.
• Communicate with other providers to maintain community collaboration.
• Transport youth to appointments/activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation for tracking and reporting.
