Job summary

Auberle Group is seeking an Entry Level Part-Time position at Main Campus in McKeesport, PA to provide awake supervision for residents and ensure coverage across shifts. The role involves crisis intervention, safety checks, and supporting residents with daily living skills within a 24/7 shelter setting.

The position requires Act 33/34 and FBI clearances, 21+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and 2 years in human services. Evening/weekend flexibility is requested.

Qualifications

• Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances.
• 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma/ GED.
• 2 years of experience in the human service sector.
• Physical stating free of all communicable diseases.
• Pre-employment drug screening.
• Completion of mandatory trainings is required prior to starting in the role.
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant and consistent, awake supervision of residents’ daily, evening and weekend activities throughout the entire shift and assure the program is never left without staff coverage.
• Perform hourly rounds, safety checks, and document observations to maintain resident safety and communicate vital information to the team.
• Monitor and support participants in daily living skills, including parenting, hygiene, social engagement, and problem-solving, while fostering a supportive and structured environment.
• Intervene in crisis situations using approved de-escalation techniques, promoting safety, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain safety, security, cleanliness of the facility and equipment and ensure proper use of supplies.
