Responsibilities

• Perform trailer switches by hooking and moving trailers between yard and doors.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management to optimize yard flow.
• Document trailer moves using yard management systems or switcher cards.
• Carry out pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Handle packages by hand when required, loading/unloading from vehicles.
• Sort packages using scanning and labeling information.
