Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking personnel to move trailers between yard and doors and to load/unload packages in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate with control, document movements, and conduct safety inspections.

Prior switcher or CDL experience is preferred but not required. The role includes hand-to-surface package handling, scanning, and operating docking equipment in shifts of two to four hours, withFull-Time employment and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• No experience required; six months preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) file.
• Ability to follow instructions regarding work duties and safety methods.

Responsibilities

• Move and switch trailers between yard and doors.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management or central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Handle packages using hand-to-surface methods and load/unload from vehicles.
