Job summary

PlaceMakers Christchurch in Southland is seeking a Yard & Drive Thru Team Member to join our busy team. You’ll help customers, load and unload goods, and process transactions in our timber yard and Drive Thru area.

You’ll work in a team of eight with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficient service. A clean Class 1 driver licence and forklift licence are preferred, and good numeracy and computer skills are helpful.

Qualifications

• Full clean Class 1 driver licence and forklift licence preferred.
• Physical fitness and commitment to health and safety values.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Good numeracy and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in the timber yard and Drive Thru area.
• Load goods onto customer vehicles and process orders/transactions.
• Pick orders for delivery and monitor inventory levels.
• Maintain an efficient warehouse and operate a forklift as required.
