Job summary

Middy’s Electrical is seeking a reliable Storeperson/Driver to join our branch team. In this hands-on role you will handle receiving, processing and dispatching goods, plus completing customer deliveries and supporting day-to-day operations.

You will work closely with branch staff to ensure accurate orders, timely deliveries and excellent service. A valid driver’s licence is essential, and forklift capacity is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Customer-focused approach with good communication.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred; forklift licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and process incoming goods.
• Pick and pack customer orders for delivery or collection.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Organise stock and maintain a clean, safe store.
• Coordinate delivery runs and paperwork with customers.
• Assist customers with enquiries and provide friendly service.
• Process returned goods and assist with credits where required.
• Return defective or surplus goods to suppliers.
• Work with branch staff to support daily operations.
• Maintain accurate information in branch systems and follow processes.
• Follow company policies and QHSE requirements.
