North Star Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a patient-focused X-Ray Technologist in Flower Mound, TX. This full-time outpatient position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with no weekends or on-call, and opportunities to cross-train into CT or MRI for skill expansion.

You will perform diagnostic X-ray exams, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with radiologists and staff to deliver exceptional patient care.

X-Ray Technologist

Position Summary

North Star Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our team in Flower Mound, Texas. This is a full-time opportunity in a busy outpatient imaging center where you'll perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations while providing exceptional patient care. This position also offers an excellent opportunity to cross-train into CT or MRI for motivated candidates looking to expand their skills.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekends or on-call

Requirements

• Current Texas Medical Board (MRT) General certification (Limited and Non-Certified not applicable)
• ARRT (R) certification
• Current CPR certification (preferred)
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations according to established protocols
• Verify patient identity, review physician orders, and obtain appropriate patient history
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and image quality
• Educate patients about their exam and answer questions to provide an exceptional patient experience
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the RIS/PACS and EMR systems
• Perform daily quality control procedures and ensure imaging equipment is operating safely and efficiently
• Adhere to radiation safety standards, infection control policies, HIPAA, OSHA, and company procedures
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, referring providers, and fellow team members to provide outstanding patient care
• Participate in continuing education and maintain professional competency
• Cross-train into CT or MRI as opportunities become available
• Assist with departmental workflow and other duties as assigned
