Job summary

North Star Diagnostic Imaging in Denton, TX, is seeking a compassionate X-Ray Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team. You will perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced setting and have the opportunity to cross-train into CT or MRI for career growth.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, no weekends or on-call, and benefits including health insurance, PTO, scrubs provided, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Current MRT General certification (Texas Medical Board) is required.
• ARRT (R) certification is required.
• Current CPR certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations according to established protocols.
• Verify patient identity, review orders, and obtain patient history.
• Prepare and position patients ensuring comfort, safety, and image quality.
• Educate patients about their exam and answer questions to ensure an excellent patient experience.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in RIS/PACS and EMR systems.
• Perform daily quality control procedures and ensure imaging equipment is safe and efficient.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards, infection control policies, HIPAA, OSHA, and company procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, referring providers, and team members to provide outstanding patient care.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain professional competency.
• Cross-train into CT or MRI as opportunities arise.
• Assist with departmental workflow and other duties as assigned

North Star Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our team in Denton, Texas. This is a full-time opportunity in a busy outpatient imaging center where you'll perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations while providing exceptional patient care. This position also offers an excellent opportunity to cross-train into CT or MRI for motivated candidates looking to expand their skills.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Requirements

• Current Texas Medical Board (MRT) General certification (Limited and Non-Certified not applicable)
• ARRT (R) certification
• Current CPR certification (preferred)
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
