Job summary

Forkeys Construction & Fabrication in Cortland, NY is seeking a Full Time Production Worker/Welder to perform welding and fabrication tasks. The role requires 1-3 years of welding/fabricating experience, proficiency with TIG and MIG welding, and the ability to read mechanical drawings.

Basic machine maintenance and documentation duties are part of the job. Typical hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years welding/fabricating experience required.
• Experience with TIG & MIG welding, including setting up equipment and following procedures.
• Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and fabricate components accordingly.
• Performs basic equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate components to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with safety requirements.
• Document the part processed and keep records up to date.
• Save programs on the machine and assist with basic machine maintenance.
• Support a team environment with good communication and attendance.
