Job summary

Arizona Baptist Children’s Services (ABCS) seeks dedicated Parent Aides to support families and children within our faith-centered programs. You will build relationships with 4–6 families, accompany children to visits, document interactions, and provide a compassionate presence to guide positive outcomes for families in transition.

Qualifications

• You have a minimum of a high school diploma. We prioritize calling and an ability to grow.
• You can effectively and consistently communicate via technology and in person.
• You are able to write clear and objective reports in order to provide documentation to the courts.
• Bilingual individuals are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with 4-6 families and encourage them while sharing the message of hope in Jesus Christ.
• Facilitate positive interactions for children in DCS cases to support family reunification.
• Build relationships with children and transport them to visits with their parents.
• Receive support from supervisors and teams to discuss incidents and cases.
• Supervise visits (2–4 hours) and document interactions to assess parenting progress.
• Support families with housing, food pantry resources, and spiritual guidance when opportunities arise.
• Assist families in following visit guidelines to ensure safety and enjoyment for children and parents.
