Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a vascular ultrasound technologist for the Kenilworth site in Charlotte, NC. The role involves performing vascular ultrasound testing, documenting findings, and reporting results to physicians.

The ideal candidate will have a CAAHEP-accredited vascular sonography background with RVT/RVS credentials, at least two years of experience, and BLS certification. The position offers a day shift (7:30–16:00) and may require coverage at other locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP vascular sonography program or comparable experience with RVT or RVS credentials required.
• Two years of experience required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician's orders and reviews patient record prior to exam.
• Performs basic vascular ultrasound testing according to accredited vascular laboratory protocols.
• Recognizes and documents abnormal pathologies according to imaging protocols to support diagnosis.
• Provides physician detailed preliminary report.
• Enters measurement data and final report into cardiovascular reporting system.
• Ensures equipment is cleaned and functioning per manufacturer guidelines.
