Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in East Longmeadow, MA. You will monitor, deter, and respond to security events, while delivering professional customer service to tenants and visitors.

As an unarmed patrol at a commercial real estate location, you will maintain a visible presence and coordinate with on-site teams. This role offers a daytime to evening schedule, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities for training and advancement within a values-driven team

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing authorized individuals, and document security-related observations, incidents, and patrol activities.
• Maintain a professional presence while helping to deter unauthorized activity and supporting a welcoming environment for occupants and guests.
