Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Deterrence in Kailua, HI. This role involves patrolling healthcare facilities, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

You will conduct regular patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while following site procedures. A valid driver’s license, HS diploma, and pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to respond calmly to incidents and emergencies with professional problem-solving.
• Ability to conduct routine patrols of healthcare facilities and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, patient and staff access procedures.
• Accurate incident reporting and communication with leadership and responders.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, patient, and staff access procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
