Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as part of employment.
• Adherence to laws governing background history.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures and location policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and according to protocols with proper notification of relevant personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and access control.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and activity reports per Allied Universal and location requirements.
