Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Response) in Pasadena, CA. You will monitor and patrol financial institutions, deter unauthorized activity, and provide exceptional customer service while reporting observations and responding to security concerns.

Responsibilities include patrolling interior/exterior areas, monitoring access points, and documenting incidents with clear reports. The position requires the listed minimums and may involve varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Background histories considered per laws.
• Drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• License requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a financial institution by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established post orders.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate security-related observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
