Job summary

Allied Universal® in Pasadena, CA seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Property Observation to safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence, and report security concerns while delivering outstanding customer service.

This role emphasizes teamwork and integrity in a dynamic environment. Pay rate is $20.00 per hour with a consistent day-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols in manufacturing, industrial areas, access points, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity and potential hazards; report observations per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly, documenting activities and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor screening, and adherence to entry/exit procedures.
