Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Unarmed) in Pasadena, TX. This full-time role involves protecting client sites, controlling access, and responding to incidents with calm, professional conduct.

You'll use computers or tablets to document activities, perform patrols, and enforce site procedures. Must be at least 18, have a HS diploma or equivalent, and pass background checks and a drug screen as required by law. All qualified applicants will be considered.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and clients while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify credentials, manage visitor registration, and maintain access records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Deter unauthorized access by enforcing visitor, contractor, and delivery protocols and reporting violations.
