Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in Birmingham, AL. You will patrol retail locations, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service while adhering to company policies and driver requirements.

This driving role requires a valid driver’s license and a commitment to safety, integrity, and teamwork within a dynamic environment. Earn $17.00 per hour with a full-time schedule including day shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly, notifying store personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location including sales areas, entrances, exits, and parking areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and hazards; report observations per site procedures.
• Assist with access control, customer flow, and incident documentation as required.
