Highway Safety Services of Indiana is seeking a dependable Traffic Control Technician to join a Helix Traffic Solutions network. This full-time, on-site role focuses on installing and maintaining traffic control devices, reading project plans, and ensuring safe work zones across Indiana.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and willingness to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Pay ranges from $15 to $30 per hour with benefits available.

• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain traffic control devices on or adjacent to job sites.
• Set and maintain traffic control throughout project duration.
• Install directional and informational signs by hoisting into place and fastening to frameworks.
• Read and work from plans to locate, drive posts, and position signs.
• Perform delineators, pavement striping, striping removal, and detours.
• Service, maintain, and repair traffic control devices as needed.
