The Social Sciences Department at Wilbur Wright College, part ofthe City Colleges of Chicago, is seeking an innovative andcollaborative tenure-track Psychology faculty member to begin inSpring 2027. The selected candidate will contribute to thecontinued growth of the Psychology program through teaching,curriculum development, assessment activities, departmentalleadership, and service to the college.
Reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the full-timefaculty position conducts formal classes and meets all labobjectives, when applicable, for assigned courses. Full-timefaculty teach and evaluate students and prepare and revise coursesyllabi and other educational materials. Full-time faculty willhave demonstrated success in the classroom by developing and usingeffective teaching strategies that meet students’ diverse needs andengage students in critical thinking and problem-solving.Additionally, full-time faculty contribute to the overall operationof the College, support the mission of the institution, and employthe philosophical commitment of the community collegeenvironment.
