Job Overview

As a Teller, you assist with various financial needs and process transactions. You provide exceptional customer service, resolve concerns, minimize risk, defend against fraud, refer product solutions, and escalate complex issues for timely resolution.

1. Provide an elevated level of customer service by welcoming customers, minimizing wait times, and assisting with their banking needs.
2. Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
3. Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
4. Adhere to all bank policies and procedures, including compliance and risk management protocols to prevent fraudulent situations.
5. Recognize opportunities and cross-sell bank products to deepen customer relationships.
6. Engage customers and leverage digital tools to educate them on self-service options.
7. Assist with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work area to create a welcoming environment for customers.
9. Support nearby branch locations as needed based on business requirements.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

1. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education or work experience.
2. At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
3. At least 6 months of demonstrated customer service experience.
4. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
5. Ability to identify and escalate risk concerns appropriately.
6. Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
7. Effective listening and communication skills.
8. Comfortable using digital tools and technology to engage customers.
9. Energetic, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
