Qualifications

Outstanding instructional skills and a strong research agenda in technology and engineering education.

Responsibilities

Develop and teach undergraduate courses in technical content areas such as communications technology, manufacturing technology, and pre-engineering.
Develop and teach undergraduate courses in instructional methods and pedagogy.
Supervision of student teachers.
Teach graduate-level courses and mentor graduate students.
Serve as a faculty advisor for the BYU affiliate of the Technology and Engineering Education Collegiate Association (TEECA).
Conduct scholarship and creative activities that impact the technology and engineering education profession.
Conduct professional development and educational outreach activities and be involved in the field at local, state, and national levels.
Supervision of a materials processing lab facility.
