Job summary

The Early Childhood Education program at Brigham Young University invites applications for a full-time Teaching Faculty position on the tenure-equivalent CFS track. Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or related field completed by start date
• Doctoral degree with specialization in early childhood education or related field preferred
• Excellent communication skills, especially in diplomacy and sensitivity
• Experience mentoring teacher candidates or practicum supervision

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Elementary Education including ECE 299R and ECE 399R practicum
• Coordinate practicum and student teaching placements and oversee clinical supervision
• Promote BYU Public School Partnership and build relationships with district partners and BYU Lab School
• Organize and supervise Clinical Faculty Associates and coordinate performance-based assessments
• Oversee field-based placements and organize seminars for teacher candidates
