Responsibilities

• Operate multi-line PBX switchboard to connect callers.
• Take and relay messages; notify department Administrators/Directors of important messages.
• Announce visitors and assess arrival of regulatory surveyors.
• Respond to emergencies and alert security or leadership when needed.
• Greet and assist patients and visitors, directing them to the correct location.
• Notify Registration department of patient arrivals and follow intake procedures to reduce wait times.
