Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (Full Time) for our Franklin, TN location. The role supports surgeons and the operating room team under supervision of physicians and registered nurses. A CST credential and BLS are required, with 1–2 years OR experience preferred.

Graduate from an accredited CST program. Must maintain sterile technique, assist with prep, instrumentation, and room readiness for procedures, and participate in safety checks and post-procedure duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• CST certification, or grandfathered per state regulations.
• Prefer 1–2 years OR experience; may accept 0–2 years in related field.
• Must be certified in Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment and instrumentation for surgical procedures.
• Set up sterile field and ensure sterility prior to procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, drape setup, and instrument passage to surgeons.
• Participate in counts of sponges, needles, and instruments.
• Assist with decontamination, sterilization, and room turnover.
