Job summary

TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the Endoscopy Department. In this role you will assist in operative procedures and provide intra-operative support under the guidance of the surgical team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification.
• Current BLS certification at hire.
• 1 year of CST experience required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
• Functions as scrub person during operative procedures.
• Assists in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing technical duties as assigned.
