Job summary

UNITED SURGICAL PARTNERS INTERNATIONAL is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator in Sherman, TX to manage daily surgical procedure schedules based on available time, equipment, and personnel. You will resolve conflicts and prepare daily reports to support operating room efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus 1 year of relevant scheduling or clerical experience. ICD-10/CPT knowledge and insurance terminology familiarity are preferred, along with strong customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of hospital/clerical scheduling experience.
• Scheduling and authorization experience preferred.
• ICD-10 and CPT coding knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance carriers and medical terminology preferred.
• Strong customer service and computer skills required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical procedures accurately based on allocated time and equipment availability.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and coordinate with surgical teams.
• Prepare and distribute daily scheduling reports.
• Ensure proper authorization and coding where required.
