Job summary

ALDI is seeking a full-time Store Associate to join our on-site team. You will merchandise, stock, cashier, and keep the store clean while delivering exceptional customer service.

Average hours are 30+ per week with starting wage of $19.00 per hour and annual increases through years 2–5. This role is for individuals 18+ with a high school diploma preferred and retail experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate cash registers and POS systems.
• Ability to interpret ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Model and fulfill customer service principles; escalate concerns to management.
• Inform management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Accurately scan and process customer purchases with POS; report scanning issues.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Open additional check lanes to improve checkout efficiency.
• Stock shelves and displays per merchandising planograms.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assist management in achieving operational efficiency and loss goals.
• Ensure a safe work environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment.
• Follow inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
