Job summary

ALDI is seeking a Full-Time Store Associate to handle merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning to keep the store at peak condition. You will contribute to an exceptional customer experience by working with the ALDI team and delivering friendly service.

Typical hours average 30+ per week with starting pay of $19.00 per hour and scheduled increases over time. This role requires strong communication, accuracy in transactions, and reliability in daily duties across a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Provides prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operates store equipment such as cash registers and POS devices.
• Interprets and applies ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Communicates clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Performs basic arithmetic and maintains accuracy in transactions.

Responsibilities

• Models and applies customer service principles and escalates concerns as needed.
• Reports loss due to outdated or damaged products to management.
• Uses POS to scan and process purchases and resolves scanning issues.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Opens additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout flow.
• Stocks shelves per planograms to maximize sales.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and on time.
• Maintains merchandising and zone standards at all times.
• Supports management in achieving operational efficiency and loss-control goals.
• Ensures a safe work environment by addressing hazards and maintaining equipment.
