Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Work independently and with others.
• Organize, prioritize and complete tasks to maximize productivity.
• Maintain reliable and prompt attendance.
• Meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Uses the POS system to scan and process purchases and reports scanning issues.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Opens additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms.
• Completes curbside pickup orders and ensures timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Supports management in achieving operational efficiency goals.
• Supports management in achieving total loss goals.
• Follows all company policies and processes.
• Maintains a safe work environment by addressing hazards and ensuring equipment is in good order.
• Adheres to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to company standards.
