Job summary

Shoreline Post Acute in Toledo, OH is seeking a FULL TIME STNA to join our nursing team. You will assist nursing to provide direct patient care and contribute to a supportive and inclusive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have current STNA certification in Ohio, prior experience in rehabilitation or long-term care is preferred, and you will work closely with elderly residents while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current STNA certification in Ohio.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with elderly and disabled populations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing with resident treatment sessions as directed
• Prepare, organize, clean residents and their living spaces
• Assist residents with transfers, ambulation, exercises, and positioning under nursing supervision
• Observe and report resident progress, concerns, or changes in condition to nursing staff
• Provide direct patient care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding assistance
• Obtain and record resident vital signs as assigned
• Ensure resident safety and comfort during therapy sessions and daily activities
• Maintain accurate documentation as required by facility policies
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA confidentiality guidelines
• Participate in departmental meetings, in-services, and training programs
• Assist with restorative nursing programs as directed
