Job summary
Careage Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Cherokee, IA is seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab program. This role focuses on screening, evaluation, and delivery of rehabilitative interventions for our geriatric patients, with emphasis on wound care and functional disorders.
License as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required, and new graduates are welcome to apply.
Qualifications
- Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
- Open to SLPs at all experience levels. New grads are welcome!
Responsibilities
- Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care.
- Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments.
- Assist with discharge planning and summaries.
- Provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.
- Generate comprehensive discharge summaries ensuring regulatory compliance.
