Job summary

Rehab at Scottsdale Village Square, a luxury SNF in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Qualifications

• Current, active Speech Therapy License (required).
• Current ASHA certification.
• Experience with AAC systems and augmentative communication.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized, medically necessary treatment plans.
• Provide AAC systems for individuals with expressive/language disorders.
• Educate clients, families, and caregivers as a subject matter expert.
• Coordinate with other professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures as ordered.
• Supervise CFY externs and teaching staff per licensure rules.
• Maintain accurate billing records and clinical documentation.
• Conduct screening rounds and recommend safety or business improvements.
