Job summary

Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 is seeking a paraeducator to support teachers and students in special education programs. This full-time position runs 7.5 hours per day, 185 days per year, with a minimum salary of $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include providing instructional support under the supervision of the Supervisor of Special Education, meeting credential alternatives within 6 months, and completing 20 hours of staff development each school year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
• Within 6 months, meet one of PDE credential options or equivalent.
• 20 hours of staff development per school year; pro-ration based on hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to the teacher and students in special education programs.
• Assist with classroom activities under supervision; support instructional leaders and learners.
