Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 is seeking a full-time paraeducator to support instructional activities in special education classrooms. The role includes assisting teachers, supervising students, and maintaining safety procedures under supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and one of the PDE-listed paths to eligibility, plus completion of required staff development hours each school year. CPR/First Aid/AED certification is preferred.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
• Effective July 1, 2010 Also must meet one of the following four qualifications: PDE Credential for Special Education Paraeducators; 2 years of postsecondary study (48 credits); Associate degree or higher; Rigorous standard of quality assessment within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Provide instructional support to the teacher and students under supervision.
• Assist with classroom activities and follow directions to support instruction.
• Comply with safety protocols and CPI/SCM/Quality Behavior Solutions training as directed by program needs.
