Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 is seeking full-time paraeducators to support students in special education programs. You will provide instructional support to the teacher under the program supervisor of special education, with a schedule of 7.50 hours per day, 8:15 am–3:45 pm, Monday–Friday, 185 days per year, and a minimum hourly salary of $20.00.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, and must meet one of PDE’s credentials or equivalents within six months.

Formación

• Education required: high school diploma or GED.
• Must meet PDE credential OR 2 years of postsecondary study (48 credits) OR an associate degree or higher OR a rigorous standard of quality assessment within 6 months of employment.
• Each school year, provide evidence of 20 hours of staff development activities related to position.

Responsabilidades

• Provide instructional support to the teacher (instructional leader) and students under the supervision of the program supervisor of special education.
• Support students in special education classes or programs as required by the position.
• Assist with basic data entry, internet/email usage, word processing and spreadsheets as part of daily tasks.
