Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Server to provide high-quality dining service for residents, ensuring a pleasant dining experience and accommodating resident preferences with exceptional customer care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED), highly preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older or have a proper work permit and authorization documentation.
• Must complete required Background clearances, health screening, and provide negative TB test results within 7 days of employment (must be within the last 6 months).
• Basic counting skills as required by the position (tracking meals/residents, etc.).
• Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, write, understand, and read English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional dining service by taking accurate food orders and serving meals to residents, family members, and guests in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Uphold a high standard of table etiquette by serving from the left, clearing dishes between courses, and resetting tables for subsequent service to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Engage with residents in a friendly and courteous manner, assisting with their meal and menu selections, and attending to their dining needs, as necessary or requested.
• Review and adhere to residents' dietary needs, restrictions, and preferences as outlined by the Supervisor and in their care plan.
• Track resident meal attendance and communicate with designated team members for safety checks on absent residents.
