Job summary

Ivy Park at Huntington Beach, managed by Oakmont Management Group, seeks a Class B Driver to safely operate community vehicles and supervise residents on outings. The role supports activities and events in the community with a focus on safety and service.

Requirements include a Class B or C license with Passenger Endorsement, 21 years of age, and a high school diploma. Full-time schedule, competitive hourly pay, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus.
• Prefer two years of experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.
• Vaccination may be required per policy and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, special activities, and resident appointments.
• Assist with loading residents and belongings onto/off of community vehicles.
• Follow all state and federal driving laws.
• Maintain proper vehicle inspection and safety standards.
• Act as a member of the activity staff during outings and in the community.
• Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
