Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2 years in a social or recreational program, one full time in a resident activities program in a health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide an activities program daily including evenings and weekends.
• Create a plan of activities that meets the residents' needs and supports their wellbeing.
• Coordinate the activities program with other services in the facility.
• Recruit, train and supervise volunteers when appropriate.
• Assist with budget development and family/community engagement.
