Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver X Ray Screening in San Jose, CA. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and deliver excellent customer service while upholding safety and integrity.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, familiarity with X-ray screening, and the ability to work a multi-shift daytime schedule. Training and benefits are provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Criminal background check and drug screening will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter security incidents.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalating when needed.
• Complete accurate reports, daily logs, and incident documentation with professional communication to leadership and client representatives.
