Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Patrol Driver Guard in San Jose, CA. This full-time role involves patrolling transportation facilities, assisting passengers and employees, and enforcing site procedures while upholding company values.

The position requires an armed guard card, 40 caliber endorsement, a valid driver’s license, and at least one year of armed security or related experience. A background check and drug screen are required; licensing rules vary by location.

Qualifications

• Minimum of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Armed guard card and/or license required.
• 40 caliber endorsement required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, and other locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and following protocols.
• Monitor access points, check credentials, and assist with access-control for restricted areas.
• Complete required reports and documentation.
