Job summary

Millard South in Omaha, NE is seeking a Campus Security team member for full-time days. Hours are 7:15am-3:45pm, Monday–Friday.

You will monitor student activity on and around school grounds and greet individuals entering the building. In this role you will supervise halls, entrances, and grounds to help ensure safe behavior while calmly deescalating any incidents and building trust with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student activity in and around school grounds throughout the school day.
• Supervise halls, building entrances, and building grounds to help ensure appropriate student behavior while assessing situations that may pose risk or concern to safety of students, staff, and building visitors.
• Greet individuals as they come into the building.
• Qualified applicants must possess the ability to interact and relate to high school age adolescents.
• Qualified applicants must possess the ability to calmly and quickly deescalate disruptive situations as they arise.
