Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Psychologist for a K-12 setting in Gastonia, NC for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves psychoeducational evaluations, IEP support, and collaboration with school teams.

Licensed School Psychologists with NC credentials are required, with NASP a plus. We offer competitive pay up to $54/hour, W-2 employment with liability insurance, health benefits, and a 401(k) with company matching.

Qualifications

• Must hold NCDPI School Psychology license.
• Must have LPA license from North Carolina Psychology Board.
• Strong assessment, writing, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and IEP documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Provide progress monitoring and maintain compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff.
• Support student behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs.
• Assist in developing interventions and supports.
• Ensure timelines and compliance with state and federal regulations.
