Job summary

AnthroMed Education in Taylor, Michigan is seeking a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist to support PreK-12th grade students district-wide. You’ll conduct evaluations, help develop IFSPs/IEPs, and implement evidence-based interventions addressing fine motor and sensory regulation, collaborating with families and teachers.

This role also involves coordinating with multiple teams to ensure timely progress and compliant documentation, with a focus on inclusive practices and ongoing

Qualifications

• Certification as an Occupational Therapist in the state of MI.
• Previous experience working with children or in a school-based setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for working with diverse student populations.
• Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time occupational therapy services, Monday-Friday.
• Conduct evaluations, help develop IFSPs/IEPs as appropriate, and implement evidence-based interventions to address fine motor and sensory regulation needs.
• Collaborate with families, classroom teachers, and other related service providers to support students’ skills across both classroom and individual settings including in the home.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
• Utilize IEP system for management and compliance.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities.
• Enjoy a dedicated office space for therapy sessions and planning.
