Ampersand Therapy in Englewood, CO is seeking a dedicated School Nurse (RN) for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time role supports K-12 students in a health room or 1:1 setting, with a schedule of 1.0 FTE and immediate start.

You’ll administer medications, manage illnesses, maintain health records, and collaborate with families, teachers, and special education teams to promote a safe, healthy learning environment. W-2 employment with benefits and licensure support are included.

Formación

• Active Colorado State RN license.
• School Nurse authorization from Colorado Department of Education or ability to obtain.
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks.
• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or public health.
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Triage and manage student injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance.
• Communicate with families regarding student health needs.
• Collaborate with school staff and special education teams.
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as appropriate.
• Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols.
• Monitor immunization compliance and support health screenings.
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives.
