Job summary

A school district is seeking a Custodian to maintain the cleanliness of school buildings and perform various duties related to building maintenance. Responsibilities include cleaning, checking security, grounds-keeping, and assisting deliveries. Applicants should be able to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy items. Qualifications

• Ability to carry boxes, move furniture, etc over 50 pounds.
• Ability to work above ground from ladders and automatic lifts.
• Attends and participates in trainings and other professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleaning of school buildings or assigned areas.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, and other areas.
• Checks and secures buildings for safety and cleanliness.
