Job summary

Onsted Community Schools is seeking a dedicated Full-Time School Custodian to maintain cleanliness across classrooms, offices, restrooms and common areas. This role involves operating cleaning equipment, lifting and moving supplies, and adhering to district safety policies.

The position starts immediately and offers benefits such as medical/dental/vision and life insurance, paid time off, uniform allowance, and 12 paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Must pass a physical examination and drug test.
• Must lift 80 pounds.
• Must climb a ladder and use a lift.
• Must work well with students, staff and public.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning and dusting of floors, restrooms, classrooms and offices.
• Painting interior and exterior walls.
• Minor repairs of equipment and refinishing floors.
• Set up and tear down for events.
• Mowing, trimming and maintaining fields.
• Snow removal.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor.
