Job summary

PediaStaff is excited to offer a full-time School-Based Occupational Therapist in the Dover, Delaware area for the 2026-2027 school year. This 37.5-hour-per-week role runs Monday–Friday, with an ASAP start through June 10, 2027, in a school-based setting with a caseload of about 35–40 students.

You will conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, provide direct and consultative services, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with families and educational teams while documenting progress for

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Active Occupational Therapy license.
• Previous pediatric experience required.
• School-based experience preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services.
• Conduct evaluations and determine eligibility for services.
• Develop measurable IEP goals based on evaluation findings.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families and educational teams.
• Complete eligibility documentation and required reports.
• Collect progress-monitoring data and provide quarterly progress updates.
• Maintain accurate digital therapy notes and documentation for Medicaid billing compliance.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student success.
