AHS Staffing is seeking a local contract School Occupational Therapist for a Dover, DE assignment to support students through direct therapy, evaluations, and collaboration with special education teams in a school-based setting. The role is full-time, 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day, 31 weeks duration with ASAP start and end date June 10, 2027.

You will develop IEP goals, conduct eligibility evaluations, oversee COTA service plans, and participate in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Active Delaware Occupational Therapist license required.
• Previous pediatric experience required.
• School-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop measurable IEP goals and support individualized treatment plans.

This position offers the opportunity to support students through direct therapy, evaluations, and collaboration with special education teams in a supportive school environment.

Position Details

• Location: Dover, DE
• Pay Rate: $50–$58 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:45 AM–3:15 PM
• Hours: 35 paid hours per week, 7 hours per day
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: June 10, 2027
• Caseload: Approximately 35–40 students
• Setting: In-person, school-based
• Additional Responsibilities: Evaluations, goal development, and oversight of service plans for a COTA caseload (no direct COTA supervision required)
