Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Aide in Glendale, AZ to support students requiring instructional or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education team. The role involves helping with personal mobility and therapeutic care needs as directed by health professionals.

The position is contract–full time with a pay rate of $20 per hour and a 35-hour work week, offering competitive benefits through Amergis.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The School Aide works with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.
• May provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
